Changes to Privacy Policy

ALMA reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time at its sole discretion by posting revisions on the Site. Such revisions will be effective immediately upon posting them to the Site. Your use of the Site after such changes have been posted shall constitute your acceptance of the terms of the revised Privacy Policy.

Collecting Information – General

ALMA gathers email addresses from users who (1) contact ALMA for general information purposes or (2) subscribe to our electronic mailing lists for newsletters and other publications. In addition to your email address, we may collect other PII, including but not limited to your name, mailing address, and occupation. The Site will only collect PII from you if you voluntarily supply it.

ALMA does not knowingly collect or solicit PII from anyone under the age of thirteen (13). If we become aware that we have collected PII from a child under the age of thirteen without verified parental consent, we will delete that information from our records.

Sharing Information

We will only disclose PII we collect from you to third parties without your permission to the extent necessary to: (A) to comply with the law or in response to a subpoena, court order, government request, or other legal process; (B) to protect the interests, rights, safety, or property of ALMA, its affiliates, employees, or agents, to be determined in ALMA’s sole discretion; (C) to enforce this Privacy Policy; (D) in connection with a merger, acquisition, liquidation or other transfer of ALMA and/or its assets, or (E) to address fraud, security, data breach, technical issues, or to operate ALMA’s systems properly.

We may store PII in locations outside the direct control of ALMA (for instance, on servers or databases collocated with reputable hosting providers).
